This is a widely used video conference program that requires a software download before use. Skype allows for screen and document sharing and allows for group video calls for up to 10 people. Users can hide their video feed and mute their microphones during a call. Teachers will need to create a Skype login to use the tool. |

Skype in the Classroom This site helps teachers connect with classrooms and experts around the world. It also contains links to various projects and virtual field trips that are available through Skype. Google Hangouts |
This video conference program is built into your lkgeorge.org Google+ account and allows for 15 participants in one call. It is free and easy to set up. Hangouts allows for document or screen sharing. Users can also utilize the mute or highlight participant features. Calls can be recorded and automatically uploaded to YouTube for future viewing. |
